Blackout Web Development (an online adaptation of the poster)

Adapted from the blackout poster created in collaboration with Avvalprit Kaur, this responsive website aims to showcase the data visualization piece on an online platform. I wanted to explore how I could translate a print production into a different context and what a website platform might make possible for the reading flow of information. Using Adobe Dreamweaver and CSS/HTML/Javascript, I developed this site to be responsive in laptop and mobile view. Click to view the site

Mobile Site When accessed through a mobile device, the browser directs you to the mobile version of the site, reformatted to a single column. This is a more optimal view on smaller screens to view an information-loaded narrative. The lightbulb pull-out expands across the screen as opposed to partial coverage of the screen and is fixed with a semi-opaque box to distinguish it from the overlapping information.
